About The Role
QHSSE PLATFORM is seeking a qualified
Hse Engineer
to support installation and industrial activities for a project located in
KIZAD, Abu Dhabi
.
The candidate must be an
Engineer with proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry
, capable of implementing HSE management systems, supervising site safety activities, and ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations and international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the
Hse Management System
- on site.
- Conduct
- daily safety inspections and audits
- to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Perform
Risk Assessments And Job Safety Analysis (Jsa)
- for installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with
- Permit-to-Work systems and Oil & Gas safety standards
- .
- Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce safe work practices.
- Deliver
- toolbox talks, safety briefings, and safety awareness sessions
- .
- Investigate
- incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- , and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate
- HSE documentation, reports, and compliance records
- .
- Ensure proper
- PPE usage and hazard control measures
- .
- Coordinate with project management and client representatives on safety matters.
Required Qualifications
- **Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering**
- or equivalent.
- **Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas industry**
- .
- Valid
- HSE certifications
- such as
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
- .
- Strong knowledge of
- Oil & Gas safety standards and UAE HSE regulations
- .
- Experience with
- risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- .
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in
- industrial zones or large-scale installation projects
- .
- Previous experience in
Uae Oil & Gas Projects
- .
- Familiarity with
- international HSE management systems
- .
