About the Role

- Review and prepare HSE plans and procedures for development and implementation
- Support top management in issuing HSE policies and guidelines
- Identify causes of unsafe acts and conditions through procedure review, equipment inspection, and worker observation
- Participate in investigation of site accidents and incidents, collect and analyze injury data, and report findings
- Conduct regular audits and inspections at project locations
- Educate, engage, and evolve management and supervisors to develop a shared ownership approach to safety management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in QHSE or a related discipline
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the construction field
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA 18001 standards, and HSE
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

- Supporting top management in issuing HSE policies and guidelines.
- Developing and maintaining excellent communication with staff at all levels.
- Identifying causes of unsafe acts and conditions through procedure review, equipment and facility inspection, and worker observation.
- Participating in investigation of site accidents and incidents, collecting and analyzing injury and safety survey statistical data.
- Attending pre job, planning, and consultant/contractor meetings.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections at project locations.
- Investigating all accidents and near misses, preparing reports of findings.
- Educating, engaging, and evolving management and supervisors.
- Ensuring that all project personnel comply with HSE training and medical requirements.
Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in QHSE or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the construction field.
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA 18001 standards, and HSE.
- Possess a NEBOSH International General Certificate.
- Holds the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively lead teams.
