We are seeking a proactive HSE Officer / Safety Officer for fit-out and interior design projects in Dubai. The role involves implementing HSE policies, conducting site inspections, preparing safety documentation, and delivering training to ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE health and safety regulations
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Work Permits, Safety Reports, and Inspection Checklists
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for employees and subcontractors
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Monitor work at height, lifting operations, excavation works, hot works, and confined space activities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including first aid and fire safety
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
- Maintain records of inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions
- Support management in achieving project HSE objectives and KPIs
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in UAE construction
- Valid UAE HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, First Aid
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards
- Experience preparing RAMS, permits, and HSE reports
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- UAE Driving License is an advantage
