Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced **HSE Officer (QatarEnergy Approved)** for an upcoming project in Qatar.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, with proven experience working in industrial or oil & gas environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with project HSE policies, procedures, and Qatar regulations
- Implement and monitor HSE plans, risk assessments, and safe work practices
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training as required
- Maintain incident reports, near-miss records, and HSE documentation
- Ensure proper use of PPE and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Coordinate with site management to ensure compliance with QatarEnergy safety requirements
Requirements
- Minimum **4–5 years of experience** as an HSE Officer
- **QatarEnergy (QE) Approved** certification is mandatory
- **NEBOSH IGC Certificate is required**
- Experience in oil & gas / industrial projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and permit-to-work systems
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to join immediately or within short notice is preferred
