About the Role
Original Glass Technical Services seeks an HSE Officer/Safety Engineer for a 6-month contract on a UAE construction project.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, HSE Plans, Inspection Reports, Toolbox Talks, Incident & Near Miss Reports, Permit to Work documentation
- Ensure all work activities comply with project specifications and UAE HSE regulations
- Conduct site safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and client HSE representatives
- Monitor PPE compliance, emergency preparedness, and housekeeping standards
- Support project teams during consultant/client HSE inspections and audits
- Maintain accurate HSE records and submit weekly/monthly safety reports
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the construction industry within the GCC/UAE
- Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, Dubai Municipality, and other applicable standards
- Experience in preparing and managing HSE documentation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Glass, aluminum, façade, or fit out experience preferred

Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer / Safety Engineer to join our team for an ongoing project in the UAE.
- The ideal candidate must have strong experience in both site HSE supervision and HSE documentation, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and project safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the construction industry within the GCC/UAE (glass, aluminum, façade, or fit out experience is preferred).
- Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, Dubai Municipality, and other applicable standards.
- Experience in preparing and managing HSE documentation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Required).

Compensation & Contract
- Pay: AED6,000.00 AED10,000.00 per month
- Job Types: Contract
- Contract Length: 6 months (extendable based on project requirements)
