Art of Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join its maintenance team.
The role requires valid HSE approvals or permits for projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and UAE regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Maintain HSE records and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
- Liaise with clients and authorities regarding HSE requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an HSE Officer.
- Experience in maintenance, facilities management, MEP, or construction projects.
- Valid HSE approvals or permits for Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- IOSH certification is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and permit-to-work systems.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
