- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
- Ensure proper record keeping of HSE activities, reports, and compliance documentation
- Stay updated with latest HSE regulations and industry best practices, ensuring company policies are aligned accordingly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer or similar role, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region
- Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
- Excellent risk assessment and problem solving skills
- Ability to conduct trainings and communicate HSE policies effectively to a diverse workforce
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and reporting skills
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

The Role
