Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to each project type
- Monitor and enforce use of PPE and safe work practices
- Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation including risk assessments, safety audits, and permits to work
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all phases of construction
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, OSHA, and other relevant safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines
- Maintain site documentation including attendance logs, inspection reports, and progress records
- Support site inspections and audits by regulatory bodies or clients
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer
- Bachelor's degree
- NEBOSH certification mandatory
