HSE Officer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QHSE policies and procedures across company premises and applicable customer or service-provider sites.
• Support compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, and other applicable HSE requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and safety inspections.
• Deliver safety inductions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors and maintain relevant records.
• Develop and maintain HSE programs, procedures, and project HSE management systems.
• Develop safety initiatives to improve safety performance and objectives.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of safety apparel and equipment.
• Conduct toolbox talks, on-the-job safety training, and external HSE training coordination.
• Maintain risk assessments and environmental aspects and impact registers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, including accident and safety statistics.
• Conduct emergency drills, investigate accidents and near misses, and prepare written reports.
• Inspect scaffolds, fire appliances, ladders, tools, signage, and emergency facilities while maintaining HSE records.
