Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures in accordance with UAE regulations and company standards
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, permits, and risk assessments
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for employees and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct emergency drills
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management procedures
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities regarding HSE matters
- Promote a positive safety culture across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- 2–5 years of UAE experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or MEP projects
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHA standards, and risk assessment procedures
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
