Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices for our joinery and fit-out projects.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and minimizing risks on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on site
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
- Identify hazards and take corrective/preventive actions
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel
- Coordinate with project managers and supervisors on safety matters
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure HSE compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification is mandatory
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery, fit-out, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage site safety independently
Preferred
- Experience in UAE/GCC projects
- Immediate availability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
