Position Overview
A landscape company is seeking an active HSE Officer to join its team.
The role is full-time and requires immediate joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure high safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for staff, visitors, and vendors.
- Monitor applicable industry safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Support emergency preparedness and response, including evacuation plans and procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with teams to promote safety initiatives and integrate safety practices into daily operations.
- Coordinate with government bodies, safety organizations, and insurance companies.
- Support OHS policy and program development and organize OHS training for employees and executives.
- Inspect premises and personnel work to identify issues or nonconformities.
- Maintain accreditation or certificates needed for registration with RTA, DEWA, and other government authorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- University diploma in engineering, science, or safety.
- NEBOSH International Certificate.
- Two to three years of UAE experience and proven safety experience in the construction field.
