Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all HSE activities across project sites
- Ensure compliance with company, client, SEC, and National Grid HSE requirements
- Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response plans
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and site audits
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE standards
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Prepare and submit HSE reports, statistics, and performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with permit to work systems and safe work practices
- Promote a positive safety culture across all project teams
- Coordinate with project management to ensure safe execution of OHTL and transmission line activities
- Monitor work activities related to tower erection, stringing, excavation, lifting operations, and energized work
