Role Overview
Promote a safe and secure working environment in line with company and client policies and procedures.
Liaise with project and construction managers and support correction of safety deficiencies affecting project personnel.
Perform assigned HSE duties independently or with limited supervision.
What You Will Do
- Collect, analyze, and submit consultant and contractor HSE data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics.
- Represent the organization on project-site HSE matters and promote safe personal behavior.
- Ensure consultant and contractor HSE deliverables are prepared, reviewed, approved, and implemented.
- Follow up on closeout actions for SORs, abnormal events, audits, and compliance inspections.
- Conduct office inspections, office risk assessments, and other HSE assurance activities.
- Organize HSE contractor meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and deliver orientation for employees and visitors.
- Conduct or support HSE awareness training and incident investigations.
- Review first-aid cases, near misses, injuries, damages, losses, and overall HSE performance.
- Liaise with client representatives and provide HSE coverage during shifts and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Minimum four years of experience, including at least two years in a similar role.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
- Professional membership with IOSH or IIRSM.
Desired Qualifications
- Middle East experience, particularly KSA experience, is preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience, report writing, and data-gathering experience are desirable.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently are desirable.
Work Environment
- The role involves project-site HSE work, office assessments, and flexible shift and weekend coverage.
