- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor and ensure the D&B contractor's compliance with HSE standards, regulations, and project specific requirements.
- Review the contractor's HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Assist in incident investigations and ensure root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented including photographs of the incident as required.
- Prepare and present HSE reports, including statistics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Provide HSE guidance and support to the project team, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and conduct HSE training and awareness programs for project personnel and contractors.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.
- Promote a positive HSE culture and ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on HSE matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP) is highly desirable
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience in HSE management, with a focus on metro or railway projects
- Proven experience in a PMC environment, acting as a client representative
- In depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
- Experience in conducting HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in rail, metro or any transit sectors (mandatory)

- Qualifications and Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
