HSE Inspector

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

• Collect, analyze, and submit consultant and contractor data for review.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics for the client.
• Represent the organization on project-site HSE matters and demonstrate safe personal behavior.
• Ensure consultant and contractor HSE deliverables are prepared, reviewed, approved, and implemented.
• Follow up on closeout actions from observations, abnormal events, audits, and compliance inspections.
• Conduct monthly office inspections and office risk assessments.
• Organize HSE contractor meetings, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Arrange and deliver HSE orientation for new employees and visitors.
• Conduct or support HSE awareness training and incident investigations.
• Review first aid cases, near misses, injuries, damages, losses, and overall HSE performance.
• Liaise with client representatives on HSE matters.
• Maintain adequate HSE coverage during shifts and weekend work.

Required Skills

• Degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience in the Middle East, with KSA experience preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
• Professional membership with IOSH, IIRSM, or an equivalent body.

Desired Skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Report writing and data-gathering experience.

Schedule

• The role requires flexibility to provide HSE coverage during shift and weekend working.
