Overview

  • Join our dynamic team as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer, where your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance within our accounting firm.
  • You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective health and safety programs that protect our employees and the environment while promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with at least 3 years of experience to make a significant impact in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE programs that comply with local regulations and industry standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to assess potential risks associated with new projects or processes
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training sessions
  • Lead investigations into accidents or near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions
  • Stay updated on changes in health and safety legislation
  • Prepare and present reports on HSE performance metrics to management
  • Engage with employees at all levels to promote a positive safety culture

Skills

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards relevant to the accounting industry
  • Proficient in risk assessment methodologies and safety audit techniques
  • Excellent communication skills for effective training and collaboration
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to inform safety strategies
  • Experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools for monitoring and reporting
