Role overview
MENASCO is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join a project team in the UAE.
The role supports HSE delivery for MEP and construction projects, including high-rise projects.
Location
- The role is based in the UAE and involves site HSE activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site HSE inspections and monitor compliance with HSE requirements.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, JSA, and Permit-to-Work requirements.
- Investigate incidents and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct HSE awareness programs, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain HSE reports, records, and compliance documentation.
- Support HSE audits, training, emergency drills, and project HSE activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Level 6 HSE qualification or equivalent.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
- At least five years of HSE experience in MEP or construction projects, including high-rise projects.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction HSE requirements and standards.
