Role Overview
The HSE Engineer will manage health, safety, and environmental activities across projects and workshops.
The role supports compliance with local and international standards and promotes continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, risk assessments, and job safety analyses.
- Support site teams, enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and HSE meetings, and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with government authorities and manage QMS, EMS, and IMS certification requirements.
- Lead safety training, develop training plans and matrices, and provide HSE advice to project teams.
- Monitor hazardous exposures, equipment safety, PPE needs, emergency preparedness, and heat stress controls.
- Audit workshops, report nonconformities, coordinate close-out actions, and develop machinery procedures.
- Develop Phoenix HSEMS requirements and preventive maintenance plans for workshop machinery.
Experience and Capabilities
