Role overview

Responsibilities

• Implement and assess the effectiveness of the project Safety Management System.
• Build working relationships with the client, KEO project team, and contractors on HSE matters.
• Deliver HSE training based on training needs and the project training programme.
• Monitor contractor HSE standards, report performance, and maintain project statistics.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
• Review incident data and KPIs monthly and conduct periodic project inspections.
• Manage HSE activities, assign duties to Safety Officers, and review contractor HSE documentation.
• Track closure of HSE violations and inspection findings.
• Chair project HSE meetings and attend construction progress meetings.

Qualifications

• Maintain current knowledge of HSE best practices and standards.
• Provide HSE advice and training and conduct incident investigations on the project.

Workplace

• The role supports HSE activities on a project site and involves interaction with contractors and construction teams.
