The Austin plant has an opening for Production Professional opportunities.

Successful candidates will work in our food processing production facility located in Austin, Minnesota, and enjoy competitive wages along with a comprehensive benefits package.

The Austin plant specializes in the production of items including SPAM, Dry Sausage, Bacon and Fresh pork.

The starting rate is $24.85.

What you’ll do as a Production Professional:

• Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety.
• Drive a forklift consistent with company standards.
• Working Conditions: Refrigerated environment - temperatures average 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Learn a wide variety of jobs and duties across our plant such as: grinding, batching, and stuffing products, operating forklifts, slicing, boxing, and more.
• Make people safety and food safety the number one priority.

What skills you will use:

• The ability to read and write to complete job-related paperwork.
• Basic computer skills to complete job-related tasks.
• The ability to perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.
• The ability to kneel/squat/climb as necessary to complete job related tasks.
• Weekend work is required.
