The Role
As our HRIS Coordinator, you'll be the person who keeps our employee data sharp, our processes documented, and our HR systems running like a well-oiled machine. You'll own the day-to-day accuracy of our HRIS, be the first line of support when things go sideways, and build the playbooks that make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a great fit for someone who finds satisfaction in precision, solving process puzzles, and wants to see how a growing HR function operates behind the scenes.
What You'll Do
Keep employee records accurate, complete, and audit-ready through daily data entry;
Own the JIRA support queue as the first point of contact, triaging and resolving Tier 1 requests, and looping in our Senior HRIS Advisor or IT partners when necessary;
Partner with IT and stakeholders across the business to troubleshoot issues and keep everyone informed with clear, timely updates;
Run regular system audits to catch discrepancies before they become problems, keeping our data and reporting accurate;
Spot opportunities to improve how we work: better data quality, smoother workflows, fewer manual tasks;
Pull standard and recurring reports from UKG and iCIMS on request;
Build and maintain a living SOP library as in clear, step-by-step documentation for every recurring process;
Keep documentation current, updating it any time a system, field, or process change affects an existing procedure.
What You Bring
1–2 years in HR operations, HRIS, or data administration
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as hands-on experience with UKG, iCIMS, or ADP is a real plus;
Strong Excel skills;
Excellent attention to detail and comfort with handling the same tasks regularly;
Discipline to follow established process precisely, and the judgment to know when to flag something outside the norm;
Integrity and values that align with our corporate culture;
A collaborative spirit and positive energy that make you adaptable, accountable, and generous with your time and support.
At GDI, you will be part of a growing organization that understands the importance of investing in people and offers you:
A comprehensive compensation package that includes performance-driven bonuses;
A group retirement savings program with employer matching;
Flexible group insurance with personalized coverage that meets your needs;
An employee discount at Garage and Dynamite;
Exclusive private sample sales;
A flexible vacation policy;
And more!
GDI has been repeatedly voted one of Montréal’s Top Employers and one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People.
Our promise… No day will be like the last—we aim to be better today than we were yesterday. We are committed to employment equity.
Candidates that are retained will be called for an interview. #NR-LI1
