Role overview

The HR Technology Associate Consultant supports delivery of HR systems projects for clients.

The role is designed for new graduates and does not require prior consulting or HR technology experience.

Role responsibilities

  • Learn HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors and artificial intelligence tools used in HR processes.
  • Support HR system integrations, including API analysis, integration flows, SSO configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Participate in client workshops and document integration requirements and data flows.
  • Help test system functionality by running scripts, reviewing results, identifying issues, and supporting resolution.
  • Assist with project coordination, meeting materials, task tracking, and project documentation.
  • Build consulting skills through client communication, teamwork, deadline management, certifications, and internal training.

Education and background

  • Applicants need a degree in Computer Science, Software or Systems Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Data Analytics, or another STEM field with programming or scripting coursework.
  • Candidates must graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution before their employment start date.
  • MBA and PhD graduates are not eligible for this program.

Required expertise

  • Fluent English communication is required for client and team interactions.
  • Knowledge of APIs and familiarity with JavaScript or Python are required.
  • The role requires initiative, follow-through, critical thinking, teamwork, and structured problem solving.
  • Experience with AI-enabled software development or data transformations is a bonus.

Location and travel

  • Candidates must reside or be willing to reside in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, or Vancouver.
  • Travel is required as needed based on client requirements, with frequency varying by project and client location.
  • Associate Consultant cohorts are planned to start in May 2027 and September 2027.

Preferred expertise

  • Fluent French or bilingual proficiency is a strong advantage.
