Role Overview
The HR Systems Analyst supports, optimizes, and continuously improves the organization's HR technology ecosystem.
The role covers Workday, Dayforce, Paradox, and related platforms supporting workforce processes, compliance, and decision making.
The position reports to the Lead, HR Systems.
Workplace
- This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site at either the Oakville or Markham, Ontario location.
Compensation
- Compensation is CAD 70,800 to CAD 88,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
- The role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus, company-matched RRSP, and health and wellness medical benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Workday and other HR technologies and resolve complex issues for HR teams, managers, and employees.
- Administer platforms for stability, functionality, security, and performance.
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, coordinate resolution, and work with vendors when escalation is required.
- Support organizational management, position management, requisitions, employee data, reporting, and workforce transactions.
- Monitor data quality, conduct audits, and improve data governance.
- Perform release, enhancement, integration, configuration, UAT, and regression testing.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Support implementations, upgrades, integrations, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Develop training materials, knowledge articles, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Three to five years of progressive HRIS, HR technology, payroll systems, or enterprise business application experience is required.
- Workday experience is strongly preferred; Dayforce, Paradox, or comparable HR platform experience is an asset.
- Understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, compensation, organizational structures, and workforce data management is required.
- Experience with implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, change management, requirements gathering, and process documentation is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, customer service, and prioritization skills are required.
- Workday Pro Certification and CHRP designation are considered strong assets.
