Role Description
The HR Support Officer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with flexibility for some work from home.
The role supports day-to-day HR operations and contributes to an inclusive, respectful work environment aligned with the organization’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records and assist with recruitment processes.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities.
- Develop and update job descriptions and role profiles.
- Support implementation and communication of HR policies.
- Handle employee queries and basic employee relations matters.
- Prepare HR documentation and compile reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and local employment practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HR and HR management practices, including administration and record-keeping.
- Experience supporting HR policy development, implementation, and communication.
- Skills in employee relations and routine employee inquiry handling.
- Strong organizational, time-management, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Proficiency with MS Office and HR-related tools such as HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
- Relevant diploma or degree in HR, business administration, or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; interest in alternative dispute resolution is beneficial.
Workplace
- The role is hybrid, with flexibility for some work from home, and is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
