Role Overview
The HR Program Coordinator supports workforce pathways, student partnerships, employee programs, recognition, diversity activities, and HR projects.
The role works with students, school leadership, grantors, HR leaders, community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Northwestern Medicine Scholars Program and Westinghouse College Prep partnership.
- Coordinate workforce pipeline initiatives with the NM Academy.
- Prepare external workforce award applications, including essays, data, and metrics.
- Support employee recognition programs, events, and internal or external meetings.
- Build relationships with community partners, customers, and vendors.
- Support HR projects, automation, process streamlining, board reports, meetings, purchase orders, invoices, and event logistics.
- Maintain project timelines, confidentiality, trust, effective communication, and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, project management, time management, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, prioritize multiple projects, think creatively, and collaborate effectively.
