Role Overview
Leon’s Furniture is hiring an HR Payroll Project Intern for its HR/Payroll Team.
The role provides hands-on experience in HR operations, project coordination, and process improvement.
The position is based in North York, Toronto, Ontario, and is fully on-site.
The work term is 16 weeks and is a paid internship placement.
Responsibilities
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and tasks to support successful HR project implementation.
- Schedule project meetings and maintain organized project documentation and records.
- Draft project communications, memos, and updates for stakeholders.
- Route HR and project-related questions to appropriate contacts and track responses.
- Create payroll documentation and reference guides for new-hire system access requirements.
- Support testing, rollout activities, reporting, and data collection with cross-functional teams.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Project Manager and contribute process improvement ideas.
Requirements
- Be a new graduate or a student in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program.
