Position Summary

Support the People and Culture team with employee letters, HR correspondence, employment documentation, employee records, and other HR operational activities.

This is an early-career opportunity within a global organization for an organized and detail-oriented HR professional.

Location and Employment

  • The role is remote in the United States or Canada.
  • The employment type is contract.
  • The compensation is $8.00–$12.00 USD per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process employee letters and HR correspondence throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Prepare accurate documents using HR templates, including offers, promotions, compensation changes, transfers, verifications, leave, extensions, status changes, and separations.
  • Review employee information and coordinate document approvals and signatures.
  • Track documentation, maintain employee records and electronic HR files, and update HR systems.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager questions and escalate complex matters.
  • Support onboarding, employee changes, transfers, offboarding, reporting, data validation, document organization, and audit preparation.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and other People and Culture colleagues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and support additional HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 1–2 years of HR, administrative, customer service, business operations, or related professional experience.
  • Previous HR experience, HR internship experience, or HR department exposure is preferred but not required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong written communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and technology.
  • Experience with an HRIS or employee management system is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Professional, service-oriented interpersonal skills and independent judgment.
