Responsible for building and leading the HR function across the Middle East & Africa region, supporting business expansion from 0 to 1 and through subsequent growth phases.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, driving talent acquisition, organizational development, and HR systems to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- **Organization & HR System:**
- Build and continuously optimize the HR framework for MEA, ensuring effective localization of HQ policies and improving organizational efficiency.
- **Talent Acquisition:**
- Lead recruitment for key roles and establish local talent pipelines to support rapid business expansion.
- **Performance & Incentives:**
- Develop and implement performance management and incentive systems to drive results and business growth.
- **Employee Relations & Compliance:**
- Manage employee relations and labor risks, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- **HR Business Partnering:**
- Partner closely with business leaders to support workforce planning, cost control, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with 8+ years of HR experience and 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience in overseas markets or managing multicultural teams; Middle East experience preferred.
- Background in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce is a plus.
- Familiar with UAE labor law and HR compliance practices.
- Fluent in English as a working language.

- Strong balance of strategic thinking and execution, with the ability to drive results in complex environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong resilience under pressure.
- Proven experience in building HR systems from 0 to 1 or during rapid expansion.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
