Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruitment for all F&B roles
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local labor laws
- Coach department heads on progressive discipline and performance reviews
- Oversee payroll processing for accuracy in tips, overtime, and shift differentials
- Drive engagement initiatives tailored to shift workers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience
- At least 3 years specifically in Restaurant, Hotel, or Hospitality industry
- Proven experience managing high volume recruitment (50+ hourly hires annually)
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or Hospitality Management preferred
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, SHRM SCP) preferred

Position Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic, hands on HR Manager with a proven track record in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry to lead our people strategy.
- This role is not a desk job; requires a leader who thrives on the operations floor and understands the pace of a high volume kitchen.
- The ideal candidate will be an expert in full cycle recruitment, employee relations, and compliance, specifically within a unionized or high turnover environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruitment for all F&B roles from Line Cooks to Restaurant Managers.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to combat high turnover rates.
- Implement a 'Day 1' onboarding program to accelerate cultural immersion.
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Proactively walk the floor during peak hours to maintain visible presence.
- Drive engagement initiatives such as employee of the month programs and shift swap systems.
- Manage exit interview process and analyze data to recommend retention strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to labor laws regarding overtime, minor workers, and break policies.
- Manage relationships with Labor Unions where applicable.
- Maintain accurate I 9, E Verify, and personnel files.
- Oversee Workers' Compensation claims and return to work programs.
- Coach department heads on progressive discipline, performance reviews, and effective communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years in Restaurant, Hotel, or Hospitality industry.
- Proven experience managing high volume recruitment (50+ hourly hires annually).
- Experience in a unionized environment is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Hospitality Management preferred.
- HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, or SHRM SCP is a strong plus.
Pay
- Pay: QAR10,000.00 QAR12,000.00 per day
