HR Manager, Emerging Markets

Requirements

• Required Qualifications
• At least 7 years proven experience delivering HR operations across multiple countries, ideally within a shared services, regional or global business.
• Working knowledge of employment law and statutory employer obligations in at least three jurisdictions, with the discipline to research and apply new ones. Solution oriented in being able to shape and determine practical outcomes.
• Hands-on experience implementing performance improvement plans, restructures or disciplinary processes, and the judgement to handle confidential and contentious matters with care.
• Practical payroll literacy, able to prepare and interrogate country payroll inputs and outputs and manage vendors, without needing to own the payroll run.
• Experience administering employment passes, visas or other mobility and immigration processes.
• Comfort working with HRIS and workflow tools, with a habit of documenting processes. Familiarity and comfort with using AI tools to improve workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently with a wide range of stakeholders, from our team to founders, external counsel and service providers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while managing multiple priorities under pressure.
• Global and cultural awareness, and excitement about working in a diverse, international environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a bias to action.
