About the Role
Al Ain American School is looking for an HR Lead to serve as the primary HR contact for school staff, managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with UAE labor law.

Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for all school staff on HR queries, including contracts, terms and conditions, payroll, housing, HR policies and entitlements
- Support SLT in the effective attraction and recruitment of school based staff
- Manage the onboarding process for all incoming staff, including pre employment communication
- Coordinate and manage employee exit processes
- Process and complete staff applications with MOHRE and Ministry of Interior Immigration department
- Provide necessary support to employees while maintaining professional relations
Requirements
- Sound working knowledge of UAE Labour Law
- Experience liaising with government bodies in the UAE (MOHRE, Immigration)
- Strong Safer Recruitment Practice knowledge
- Competent using IT systems, including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multi task and handle pressure
- Attention to detail and diligent follow up

- Able to effectively negotiate
