HR IR Manager

For one of our major projects in Adelaide, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focussed HR IR Manager to lead the HR and Industrial Relations function and partner with project leadership to drive workforce performance and project success. Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the HR IR Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of Human Resources. This role is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support project objectives, ensuring compliance with Australian employment and industrial legislation, mitigating workforce risks and fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the HR function for a Mega Project, providing strategic direction, governance, and operational leadership across all people-related activities throughout the project lifecycle

Act as the Sr. HR Leader ad trusted advisor to the Project Director and Leadership team

Develop and excute the project HR strategy, including workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning

Lead all workforce mobilization and staffing activities

Build, lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR team

Provide Leadership and oversight for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, including labour relations planning, employee engagement strategies, workforce risk management

Serve as escalation point for complex, sensitive and high-risk HR and employee relations matters
