- Develop and facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs that effectively integrate new hires into the company
- Conduct orientation session to familiarize employees with company policies, procedures, and culture
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure new employees receive the necessary training and resources
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions for technical roles in aircraft assembly and machining
- Utilize various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, and industry networks to attract qualified candidates
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process, ensuring a strong candidate experience
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with finance to resolve any payroll discrepancies and ensure timely disbursement.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for payroll-related processes.
- Design and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and morale
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms to promote a positive work environment
- Collaborate with leadership to assess and enhance the company culture, ensuring alignment with organizational values
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and Regulations
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support the needs of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, office management, and/or customer service setting, preferably in manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and onboarding best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment software preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Ability to analyze employee feedback and drive culture change initiatives.
