Job Overview

  • HR Generalist role at AL SERKAL GROUP L.L.C in Dubai, UAE
  • Responsible for full cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with recruitment agencies to source candidates for blue collar positions
  • Reviewing and updating job descriptions regularly
  • Preparing job postings, screening candidates, and conducting background checks
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork and tool requests are completed
  • Conducting new recruit orientation and handling employee concerns
  • Liaising between departments for onboarding
  • Requesting IT assets via ticketing system
  • Explaining HR policies and procedures to employees
  • Maintaining employee master database in ERP (ZOHO & Adrenalin)
  • Preparing employee communication letters (offer letters, salary certificates, transfer letters)
  • Verifying attendance and overtime hours
  • Providing HR business support and escalating issues to Head of HR

Payroll and Benefits

  • Preparing employee compensation using payroll software
  • Coordinating and collecting earning/deduction data
  • Maintaining payroll system data accuracy
  • Ensuring payroll cut off by 22nd of the month
  • Verifying health insurance debit/credit notes
  • Updating employee costs in Adrenalin (Visa, Accommodation, etc.)

Training and Development

  • Assessing training needs with department managers
  • Coordinating learning and development initiatives
  • Identifying effective training delivery methods and instructors
  • Evaluating training quality and effectiveness
  • Maintaining internal training system records

Compliance and Policy

  • Staying updated with UAE labor laws and proactively addressing changes
  • Assisting in development and implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company culture

Additional Duties

  • Preparing internal communications regarding new employees, promotions, departures, etc.
  • Assisting leavers with exit clearance and EOSB transfer
  • Conducting exit interviews and recommending corrective actions
  • Tie up with universities for career fairs
