HR Generalist

Emerald Cloud Laboratory (ECL) is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist to support employees and managers in a fast-paced startup environment.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, manager support, benefits, leaves, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee documentation.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, responsive, and comfortable handling sensitive matters with sound judgment and confidentiality.

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers.
• Manage employee relations concerns, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Coach managers on performance, documentation, corrective action, and terminations.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and confidential employee records.
• Support benefits, open enrollment, leaves, and workplace accommodations.
• Partner with payroll to ensure employee information is accurate and timely.
• Interpret and consistently apply employment laws and company policies.
• Support performance reviews, employee engagement, reporting, and HR projects.
• Identify risks and escalate significant concerns to the Head of HR.
