Role Description

  • This part time HR Director role is based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on site presence with some work from home flexibility.
  • The HR Director will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring consistent and compliant practices.
  • Day to day responsibilities include overseeing employee relations, guiding performance management processes, managing HR compliance with labor and employment laws, and advising leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • The role also involves coaching managers on people related issues, monitoring HR metrics, coordinating HR programs such as talent development and engagement initiatives, and ensuring accurate HR documentation and reporting.
  • The HR Director will collaborate with cross functional teams, support change management efforts, and help foster a fair, inclusive, and high performance culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) operations and HR Policies, with experience designing and implementing HR frameworks and procedures.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
  • Proficiency in Performance Management processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and development planning.
  • Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, particularly within the UAE context, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership or director level role, preferably within complex or multi stakeholder organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, including experience using HR data and metrics to inform decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.
