Our Opportunity
We are looking for an organized and service oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role plays a key part in supporting employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle while ensuring the efficient delivery of HR programs, processes, and services.

A Day in the Life
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, compensation changes, and terminations
Prepare and administer employment-related documentation such as offer letters, employment agreements, compensation adjustment letters, employment verification requests, leave documentation, and employee correspondence
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files while ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
Administer and maintain HR systems, including employee records, reporting, and data integrity
Support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and leader inquiries through the HR Helpdesk
Assist with the administration of HR programs, including disability management, work permit tracking, employee referral programs, and compliance-related initiatives
Support annual compensation reviews and performance development processes
Generate HR reports and workforce data to support business operations and decision-making
Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency
What You'll Bring to the Team
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CPHR designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset
3-5 years of experience in an HR administration, HR coordination, or HR operations role
Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and HR best practices
Experience working with HRIS, ATS, and workforce management systems
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience supporting HR functions within an engineering, consulting, construction, or project-based organization is considered an asset
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
