About the Role
DESERT MOON STEEL TRADING is looking for an HR Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the HR department. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance management, and compliance with UAE Labour Law.

Responsibilities
- Post job vacancies on recruitment portals and screen CVs
- Coordinate interviews and prepare offer letters and employment contracts
- Assist in onboarding process and conduct employee orientation
- Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and verify timesheets
- Support payroll preparation by providing attendance and leave data
- Prepare HR letters, salary certificates, NOCs, and other employee documents
- Assist with visa, Emirates ID, medical insurance, and work permit documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law
- Respond to employee HR related queries and assist in resolving concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1 year of HR experience
- Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with attention to detail

Job Summary
- The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
- Responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, leave management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Post job vacancies on recruitment portals.
- Screen CVs and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Conduct employee orientation and collect joining documents.
- Maintain and update employee personal files.
- Ensure employee records are accurate and confidential.
- Update HR databases and prepare HR reports.
- Monitor contract expiry dates and probation periods.
- Monitor daily attendance and leave records.
- Verify timesheets and attendance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with HRMS or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with attention to detail.
