Company Description

Role Description

  • The Owner will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Gandaki Polytechnic Institute, ensuring the institution’s long term vision, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • This full time, on site role in Pokhara involves setting organizational goals, approving major academic and operational plans, and overseeing budgets, investments, and resource allocation.
  • The Owner will work closely with senior administrators and department heads to support program development, staffing decisions, and quality assurance processes.
  • Day to day responsibilities include reviewing performance reports, making high level decisions on partnerships and outreach, and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment for students and staff.
  • The Owner will also represent the institute in external meetings and community engagements to strengthen the institute’s profile and relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing or owning an educational institution, training center, or similar organization.
  • Strong leadership and decision making abilities, with experience in strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in an institutional setting.
  • Knowledge of academic governance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements for polytechnic or technical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, management, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in the Pokhara or broader regional context, with familiarity with local educational and workforce needs, is beneficial.
