Oversee and manage assigned staff engaged in facilities management or building/equipment maintenance.
The Housing Building Manager (HBM), reporting to the Assistant Director, Housing Operations, oversees daily upkeep, maintenance, custodial operations, safety, and building support for assigned Student Housing facilities, serving as a local liaison across R&DE, Residential Education, and Graduate Life staff.
Supervision & Staffing: Supervise, train, evaluate, and mentor bargaining-unit custodial and temporary staff, including scheduling, performance accountability, and safety/ergonomic training.
Facility Management & Oversight: Manage cleanliness, inspections, work orders, security, and emergency response; coordinate accessibility modifications, student turnovers, and summer conference housing; partner with fire/life-safety and project teams; and help manage facility budgets, supplies, and inventory.
This role is designated as essential and requires incumbents to report to work onsite.
Telecommuting is not available for this role.

The budgeted pay range for this position is $103,104 - $109,000 per annum.
