Job Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Housekeeping Department by maintaining hotel upkeep and cleanliness to high standards.
The role focuses on delivering a positive hospitality experience for hotel guests.
Housekeeping Operations
- Ensure the smooth operation of the assigned floor and supervise housekeeping attendants.
- Organize room making, allocate rooms and deep-cleaning tasks, and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and back-of-house areas.
- Check occupied and departure rooms and ensure the operation follows established standards.
Guest Service and Inspections
- Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities, and communicate them to relevant team members.
- Inspect guest bedrooms and public areas routinely and respond to guest queries efficiently.
- Carry out lost and found procedures and report maintenance issues to the Maintenance or Engineering Department.
Team and Compliance Duties
- Assist with training and represent the needs of the housekeeping team to other hotel departments.
- Report damage to hotel property and maintain shift logs for follow-up.
- Comply with hotel security, fire, health, and safety requirements.
- Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships.
