Role Description

The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations within the facility.

This role manages housekeeping staff scheduling, training, and performance to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas.

The Housekeeping Manager coordinates daily room inspections, inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and linens, and collaborates with the laundry team to maintain efficient linen processing.

The role involves handling guest requests and feedback, working closely with front office and maintenance teams to resolve service issues, and enforcing health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

The Housekeeping Manager also participates in hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of housekeeping team members to support a consistent, customer-focused service culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Experience in laundry operations, linen management, and housekeeping processes within hospitality or similar environments.
  • Proficient customer service skills, with the ability to address guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain service quality.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff and other departments, and documenting procedures and reports.
  • Experience in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding housekeeping or service staff.
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, health, safety, and hygiene regulations in a hospitality setting.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role, ideally in hotels or serviced residences.
  • Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
