Position Information

Job category is Housekeeping and Laundry at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

The schedule is full time, the position is non-management, and it is not remote.

Position Summary

Coordinate room-status information, cleaning priorities, room assignments, and daily Housekeeping activities.

Act as a liaison among Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.

Housekeeping Coordination

  • Run sold-room reports, verify room status, resolve discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments, monitor Do Not Disturb rooms, assign rush rooms, and ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time.
  • Document issues with the Front Desk and complete required Housekeeping paperwork.

Service and Compliance

  • Follow company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and support quality standards.
  • Maintain positive working relationships, communicate professionally, accurately prepare documents, and use computers for work information.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
