Role Description
The Hotel Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The position is responsible for the smooth daily operation of the hotel.
The role oversees front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other operational departments.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics and manage staffing levels.
- Coordinate training and develop team members to meet service and performance expectations.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, cost control, and operational improvements.
- Support initiatives that improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
- Resolve escalated guest issues.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of service excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management skills, including oversight of multiple departments, process optimization, and budget and resource management.
- Demonstrated customer satisfaction and customer service focus, including the ability to handle escalations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and effective coordination with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience training, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Previous hotel or hospitality management experience, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic office software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory standards in hospitality.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
