Responsibilities
- Lead the pre opening phase: complete staff recruitment, onboarding, and role specific training before the hotel receives its first guests
- Oversee all front of house operations daily — reception, check in/check out, guest relations, and complaint resolution
- Own OTA channel management, with a primary focus on Booking.com: maintain rate parity, update availability, respond to guest reviews, and chase the property rating
- Build and execute a dynamic pricing strategy that accounts for Hajj, Umrah, Ramadan, and shoulder season demand fluctuations
- Manage housekeeping and maintenance schedules to maintain room readiness standards appropriate for a 3 star licence classification
- Control operating costs — procurement, petty cash, supplier contracts — and report monthly P&L summaries to the owner
- Ensure full regulatory compliance: MISA licence conditions, Balady (municipal) requirements, GOSI registration for all staff, and Qiwa contract authentication
- Report directly to the owner with weekly operational updates and flag any Nitaqat or Iqama matters requiring owner level action
Requirements
- 3–8 years experience with minimum 3 years hotel operations experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Hands on OTA management experience — Booking.com extranet is non negotiable
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and performance manage small hospitality teams (5–15 staff)
- Working knowledge of dynamic/seasonal pricing in a pilgrimage driven market (Hajj, Umrah, Ramadan peaks)
- Proficient Arabic — sufficient to manage local staff, liaise with suppliers, and handle Saudi guests
- Practical familiarity with Saudi hospitality compliance: GOSI, Qiwa contracts, Balady inspections
- Strong numeracy and basic financial literacy — able to read a P&L, track RevPAR, and control a petty cash float
- Languages: Arabic, English
