Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Hot Kitchen Chef De Partie (Cdp)
at Sushiah in Jeddah.
The Hot Kitchen CDP will oversee and support food preparation and cooking operations, ensuring all dishes consistently meet Sushiah’s high standards.
The role involves managing assigned kitchen sections, maintaining ingredient quality, adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations, and collaborating closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional guest experience.
The position also includes supporting the training and development of junior kitchen staff to maintain excellence across the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Hot Kitchen section during service
- Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese dishes according to Sushiah standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Organize and prepare mise en place for smooth service execution
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor ingredient quality and proper storage practices
- Support and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain performance standards
- Ensure all orders are delivered accurately and on time during service
