Role Description
This full-time, on-site Hostess role in Doha focuses on delivering a welcoming, high-quality guest experience.
The role manages reservations and walk-ins, organizes seating, and coordinates guest flow to support table turnover and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage reservations and walk-ins.
- Organize seating, maintain an accurate waitlist, and manage guest flow.
- Answer phone inquiries and coordinate with serving and management teams.
- Support opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in reception and dining-entry areas.
- Follow service standards and safety guidelines.
- Support colleagues and adapt to changing operational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Effective English communication skills are required; Arabic or another additional language is advantageous.
- Experience managing reservations, seating charts, and guest flow in a busy restaurant environment.
- Strong organization, multitasking, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Comfort with basic point-of-sale and reservation systems and general computer literacy.
