Role Overview
Friends Avenue Cafe is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Hostess/Cashier.
The role combines guest reception, reservation management, cashiering, and restaurant operations support.
Fluency in Uzbek and Russian is mandatory for communication with the restaurant's clientele.
Hostess Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage reservations and waiting lists.
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
- Answer phone calls and customer inquiries.
- Coordinate table allocation with service staff.
- Maintain an organized reception area.
- Assist with special requests and provide information about menus and restaurant services.
Cashier Duties
- Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Prepare and issue bills and receipts.
- Reconcile daily sales and cash transactions.
- Resolve payment inquiries and billing issues.
- Maintain accurate transaction records.
- Operate the cash register and POS system correctly.
- Follow company cash-handling and financial procedures.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Handle complaints professionally and escalate issues when needed.
- Support restaurant operations during busy periods.
- Work with management and service staff to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
- Fluency in Uzbek and Russian is mandatory.
- English communication skills are an advantage.
- Previous hostess, cashier, receptionist, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge is required.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills are required.
- Flexible availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.

Compensation
