Position Summary

Guest Reception and Seating

• Answer phones, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the wait list and quote accurate wait times.
• Make seating decisions using the station rotation chart and organize seating for large and special-needs groups.
• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat guests at clean, available tables.
• Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure place settings include clean napkins, silverware, menus, and other standard items.

Dining Operations

• Maintain clean work areas and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and safety.
• Communicate with guests and employees to meet guest needs and support teamwork.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette and communicate professionally.

Team Leadership

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and support adherence to company, safety, security, quality, and service standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified.

Work Requirements

• Complete safety training and certifications and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
